A proper diet, with the right nutrients and portion control, helps dogs not just live longer, but thrive longer.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so what does a brown pellet say?
Food should look, smell and taste like food.

We never use retort packing
Your food doesn’t last long in the fridge before it goes bad, and truly fresh dog food should be the same.
If it stays good for more than a few days, it’s not really fresh.
“Retort-packed” foods are sterilized with high heat so they can be stored in cans or pouches for months or years. That’s not fresh food - it’s heavily processed.
We never use retort packing. Our meals are made fresh, slow cooked to lock in nutrients and quickly delivered for your dog to enjoy fresh food.
It's not a tall tail!
A 14-year study showed that dogs who were kept lean and fed a balanced diet lived nearly 2 years longer than their littermates who were overfed.
There are lots of studies that show the health benefits of fresh foods, including how fresh food diets helped 70% of dogs improve their coat condition, and skin problems got better in 83% of dogs!
That’s more walks in the park, more playful zoomies, more cuddles and more tail-wags.

Cooking for a pup at home shows a big dose of love!
Respect. You know real food beats kibble every time, paws down!
As tasty as home-cooked meals may be, balancing all the essential nutrients a dog needs is trickier than sneaking veggies past a Labrador (the studies are very thorough).
That’s where DogChef comes in. Our recipes deliver all the goodness of fresh, real home cooked food, with the confidence that every meal is expertly designed to meet all of your pup's nutritional needs. Including any allergies.
